The Park Slope Volunteer Ambulance Corps participated in its New York State Department of Health Bureau of Emergency Medical Services Inspection on Wednesday March 4th, 2009. 

The members and officers of the organization saw the upcoming DOH inspection as an excellent opportunity to closely review and improve upon all administrative and operational areas.  

For several weeks all of the members in good standing pulled together and assisted with cleaning our base and storage areas, filing and recording our quality assurance and membership files, and the complete strip down and restock of all PSVAC vehicles including preventative maintenance and repairs. 

We were honored to have the EMS inspector review our administration and operation and we are even more pleased to have received a excellent rating on our organization.

We would like to thank all of the individuals and community volunteer ambulance organizations that provided their valuable input towards our task at hand.
